We are excited to announce the next major Centenary event to mark the start of the playing season. On Saturday 3rd September, the Club President, Charlie Anstey, will field a team of Southwell players from across the years against the 1st XV. Expect to see lots of old friends from the past, many of whom are travelling from afar.

To mark this special occasion, the Club will welcome two very special guests for the day. Former Ireland and British Lions player, Geordan Murphy will commentate on the match from a specially constructed platform. Alongside, we welcome England and British Lions legend, Jason Leonard OBE, winner of 114 caps, for the day.

Watch out for a few more famous faces too!

There will be a post match celebration in a special marquee, this is a ticket only event (£450/tables of 10) featuring a 2 course Indian dinner and a chance to hear some tales from both Geordan and Jason from their incredible careers.
