Spud Marshall is the Gascoines Player of the Month for November!
Last night, a promising young member of the Colts squad was presented with the Gascoines Player of the Month trophy by club President, Conrad Hunt, in recognition of the progress he had made during the first half of the season.
In explaining why he had won the award, Conrad said that his coaches had advised that he was a player with a great attitude who was always present at training sessions and always available for matches.
In addition, he had started to lead by example with his ball carrying and aggressive tackling and had shown great character in scrummaging against and taking on predominately older and heavier front rows.
In conclusion, Conrad said that he was not only a great contributor on the pitch, but was also viewed as a potential leader of the future and therefore was a very worthy winner of the Player of the Month award.
Well done Spud!
