A well-known and very popular club member was awarded the Gascoines Estate Agents Volunteer of the Month Award last night by Club President, Conrad Hunt, in recognition of the contribution he had made to coaching both the current U9s and U16s.

Conrad explained to the large group that had assembled for the presentation that Ollie had started coaching the U6s some years ago when it was joy to watch engaging with the youngsters on a Thursday evening by literally getting down to their level and
joining in with all the fun.

Also, when the current U16s were short of a coach he stepped in to help Tolly and Derek Dawkins where his experience both as a player and strategist had had a very positive effect on the players.

Conrad concluded by saying that, both as a player and a coach, Ollie was a brilliant clubman who thoroughly deserved his award.

Well done Ollie, what a top man!
